Tokenspire Construction Ltd - Case Study
This section of the site takes you through the procedures undertaken during a typical construction project from the excavation of the job-site through to the completed building.
The site was approx 6m out of level, so a process called 'cut and fill' took place where earth is dug out of higher points and used to fill the low points in layers until level.
Work is taking place to install dock levellers - also the sub-base is prepared for the future loading area.
A 200mm concrete floor slab layed using a lazer screed. This shows a construction joint where it allows the slab to expand and contract.
